El Paso County, Colorado

C.R.S. 1-5-104 (1), as amended, requires completion of boundary changes or creation of new precincts for nonpartisan elections no later than twenty-five days prior to a scheduled election.

C.R.S. 1-5-101(3), authorizes the county clerk and recorder to establish one precinct for every one thousand five hundred (1,500) active eligible electors.

In September of 2009, The El Paso County Board of County Commissioners approved the following precinct changes.  The changes were done to satisfy statutory requirements.
