Primary Election Information

ATTENTION:  Due to the passage of Senate Bill 11-189, the Primary Election has been moved from the second Tuesday in August to the last Tuesday in June.  The Primary Election is held to nominate candidates of major political parties to be voted for at the succeeding General Election.

Colorado does not conduct a Presidential Primary Election.

The 2012 Primary Election will be an all mail ballot election. You must be affilliated with a major political party by May 25, 2012 to receive a ballot.
