Immediately prior to joining the Clerk & Recorder’s office he served as Director of Governmental Affairs at the Greater Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce where he worked for five years. Bob moved to Colorado Springs in early 1995 to serve as Executive Director of an Olympic sport at the U.S. Olympic Training Center.

Prior to that he was also Deputy Referee of the U.S. Open.
Bob and Adele, a former elementary school teacher and current reading tutor, have been married since July 1973. Their daughter and son-in-law live in Denver and have one daughter. “Once you have a granddaughter, nothing much else matters,” says Bob.
