Bob Becker, Manager
Bob is a graduate of St. Francis College in Biddeford, Maine with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He brings to our office over 20 years multi-national experience in operations, organizational development, call center management, manufacturing operations, account management, technical support and customer service. His experience includes Project Manager, Director of Operations, and Manager of Field Support Operations for major corporations such as Data General, Sun Microsystems and Quantum. He has also served as President, CFO, and owner of a successful local business, MaggieMoo’s Ice Cream Parlor, located at The Shops at Briargate. Bob and his wife, Louise, have a 16 year old son, Matt. Bob’s hobbies include playing golf, cooking, and watching Matt participate on his lacrosse and football teams.

The Motor Vehicle Department is responsible for titling and registering all types of motor vehicles within El Paso County. This Department is also responsible for enforcing the statutory diesel emission control requirements, as well as verifying that vehicles are in compliance with mandatory insurance coverage.


The Motor Vehicle Department has reorganized services due to significant budget cuts in 2009. To manage this change we have repositioned our staff to maintain "customer counter" staffing levels.  We also are revamping our website to provide answers to questions that typically come through the phone bank. Please look carefully through the options below.
