Bob is a graduate of St. Francis College in Biddeford, Maine with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He brings to our office over 20 years multi-national experience in operations, organizational development, call center management, manufacturing operations, account management, technical support and customer service. His experience includes Project Manager, Director of Operations, and Manager of Field Support Operations for major corporations such as Data General, Sun Microsystems and Quantum. He has also served as President, CFO, and owner of a successful local business, MaggieMoo’s Ice Cream Parlor, located at The Shops at Briargate. Bob and his wife, Louise, have a 16 year old son, Matt. Bob’s hobbies include playing golf, cooking, and watching Matt participate on his lacrosse and football teams.

The Motor Vehicle Department is responsible for titling and registering all types of motor vehicles within El Paso County. This Department is also responsible for enforcing the statutory diesel emission control requirements, as well as verifying that vehicles are in compliance with mandatory insurance coverage.

although each branch has an ATM in the lobby.


Effective July 1, 2006 all new and duplicate title applications will be required to include a SECURE AND VERIFIABLE IDENTIFICATION to complete the transaction. Secure and verifiable identification is required to be presented for new registration, new placard and new temporary permit transactions, although no photocopy is required.  Click here for more information.


Effective July 1, 2005, A 10 dollar late fee will be assessed on all vehicle renewals after the last day of the month following expiration. 


The Motor Vehicle Department offers limited services for renewing both Colorado driver's licenses and Colorado identification cards at its Centennial Hall, Chapel Hills, and Powers Branch locations. These locations are also able to transfer existing licenses from other states as well as process name and/or address changes upon surrender of the existing license or Colorado identification card.

Services do NOT include CDL renewals, first time drivers licenses, any written or driving tests, or renewals for anyone under 21 at this time.
