LICENSE PLATES
The following is a very small sample of the more than 100+ available plate styles and represents those more commonly issued in El Paso County. The complete listing of available plate styles and associated qualifying criteria may be viewed at the Colorado Department of Revenue's License Plates page.

Standard Passenger Plate - available for all passenger vehicles, SUV's and light trucks that weigh less than 16,000 pounds. |

|
Standard Truck Plate - available for all light trucks weighing over 16,000 pounds. |

|
Designer Plate - available for all passenger vehicles, including SUV's, and light trucks weighing less than 16,000 pounds as a more colorful option to the standard plates.

|
Honorably Discharged Veteran Plate - available for those who have been honorably discharged from any branch of the United States Armed Services. |
|
|
Disabled Person Plate - available for those who meet the qualifying criteria for persons with disabilities. |
|
|
Standard Trailer Plate - issued to all trailer types; utility, camper, and trailer coach. |
|
|
Standard Motorcycle Plate - smaller plates used to distinguish motorcycles.
