OWNERSHIP TAX
Ownership tax is a personal property tax based on the original taxable value (sticker price) of your vehicle. It is distributed to the various taxing entities in accordance with established mill levies. The chart below illustrates the distribution of the 2007 ownership taxes collected by our office.
