Sandy Hook, Manager Sandy joined the Clerk and Recorder’s office in August 2003 as Recording Department Manager. Prior to that she worked for twenty-three years for Ingersoll-Rand Company as a Customer Service Supervisor, Claims Processing Manager and Senior Credit Analyst. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree from Cleveland State University and a Master’s degree in Psychology from Tennessee State University. In addition, she was employed part time for seven years as a counselor with two psychological counseling centers in the Nashville area. Sandy resides in Florissant, Colorado with her husband, Rich, and two dogs. The Recording Department is responsible for recording and maintaining real estate documents, subdivision and condominium plats, and issuing marriage licenses. Records are kept on microfilm and date back to 1861.
