Sandy has served as Recording Department Manager since joining the Clerk & Recorder’s Office in August 2003. Sandy’s prior career was in the corporate world at Ingersoll-Rand Company, where she was employed 23 years. There, she held the positions of Customer Service Supervisor, Claims Processing Manager and Senior Credit Analyst. Previously, Sandy also worked for seven years as a counselor with two psychological counseling centers in the Nashville area. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Cleveland State University and a Master’s degree in Psychology from Tennessee State University. Sandy resides with her husband, Rich, and three dogs. In her spare time she enjoys swimming, reading and target shooting.

A goal of our office is to provide as much public information to our citizens as possible, including information related to the procedural aspects of this office. However, our staff cannot provide legal advice to citizens. Advising a person on the type of instrument which should be used, or advising a person how to complete a "form" document, may constitute the practice of law. We suggest that our customers seek legal advice to assess their personal situation. Some sources of legal assistance are available through the 4th Judicial District Court website.
